MISSY

Marvelous Missy came to Humane Colorado as a stray and was initially pretty nervous about being here. She can still be shy but with gentle voices and pets she warms up quickly to new people. She's easy to leash and a good walker but is NOT a fan of stairwells or stairs and takes quite a bit of coaxing. We don't know her history but we do know that while at the shelter she's been curious about other dogs but not reactive. She loves going for long walks. Hot dog and cheese treats are her favorite reward for being such a good girl! Given her limited history and initial shy nature we recommend a home with older children, a long visit with any other dogs in your home and a slow introduction to other pets. She is a sweet girl with a lovely personality - come in to meet Missy and see for yourselves!
