Mimi arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on May 15 as an owner surrender, because they said there were too many pets to take care of at home.
Mimi is as sweet as a kitty can be. Despite suddenly landing in a shelter environment after possibly coming from the only home she’s ever known, Mimi has been friendly and trusting with staff, volunteers and visitors. She enjoyed getting out of her cage for her photo debut and was the purrfect subject! She has a beautiful - shiny coat and large soulful golden eyes. Right now it’s kitten season and the adult cats are often overlooked. Although, Mimi is only an adult in size. She is just one year old and certainly has plenty of kittenness in her personality. She’s so loving and deserving of another chance at finding a loving and forever home.
