MILKY WAY*

Meet Milky Way – a young female staffie mix pup with the cutest short-stack legs! Milky Way came to the Shelter via animal control after her previous guardians were unable to provide care for her and the rest of her large canine crew.

Milky Way has been enjoying exploring the wider world and cuddling and playing with staff and volunteers since her arrival at the Shelter. Although she came to us with limited experience - just living in her home and yard with her few humans and over a dozen canine relatives, she is a remarkably calm and confident young dog, ready to try just about anything with some praise and positive guidance. She is friendly and sociable with every person she meets and will often just `melt` onto her back for belly rubs. She walks quite well on a harness, but she gets excited when she sees other dogs and will pull to try to meet them.
