Maxine is a gentle, sweet girl looking for her forever home. ❤️
Maxine spent her entire life outdoors, but thanks to a kind woman who made sure she always had food and shelter, she was cared for. She had several litters of kittens, and now that she has been spayed, her days of motherhood are behind her. She is ready to enjoy the safe, comfortable indoor life she deserves.
Since coming into foster care, Maxine has really started to blossom. She loves being petted and is learning that being picked up can be okay, although she hasn’t had much experience with it yet. She has already come a long way with human attention and is becoming more comfortable and trusting every day.
Maxine may be a little vocal or growl when she is unsure at first, but don’t let that worry you—it’s all sound and no bite!
