This lovely little one came to us from a hoarding situation. Dogs from this kind of background typically have not had the best care and clearly Maxi lacked some socialization. She is doing wonderfully in her foster home and is ready for a great future with a loving family.
Maxi is one fabulous pup. She has a healthy confidence level and often takes the lead on walks, even in unfamiliar areas. Her personality is becoming more playful and bouncy. She is great on leash and gets along with every dog she has been introduced to. She is also calm and quiet. She attaches quickly to her people but not seeing any issues with separation anxiety at this time. She happily sleeps through the night curled up on top of the bed.
Maxi is still working on her potty training. She is doing much better but needs consistent supervision when she arrives in a new home to make sure her learning sticks. Maxi will do best in a home with another small dog. She really thriv...
