[email protected]Mabel is goofy, very affectionate and has a wonderful balance of playful outdoor energy and relaxed indoor manners. She loves attention from anyone willing to give it to her. She was found in March roaming a hunting preserve, severely underweight and covered in ticks and fleas. At first she was scared of being indoors, but from day one she was friendly and clearly wanted love. She has since learned the joys of dog beds, cuddling and being loved by her people and playing with other dogs. Mabel currently lives with cats, a ferret, and a 9-year-old child. She is generally fine with the cats... she may briefly show interest or chase for a moment, but she mostly ignores them. Outside she is typical beagle/hound wandering the yard, sniffing, exploring and not interested in chasing wildlife.
