Lola (CA)

Sweet Lola's goal in life is to live in a home where she can be in the company of humans as much as possible. She will lavish her total loyalty on one household member, but is loving to all. She could be happy in a one-person home or in a household full of adults and children -- she just doesn't want to be alone. At 10 years-old, Lola deserves that reasonable request. Want to go on walks? She is right there with you for as far as you want to wander. Prefer to just veg on the couch? She can do that, too. Have other dogs? She will totally enjoy chasing, wrestling, and cuddling with them. Lola is very observant, both visually and audibly, and will scan her environment for clues of what is about to happen. Her focus and intelligence do make her tend toward strong-willed stubbornness, but if you pair that determination with some treats, she becomes a gal intent on figuring out how to learn something new.
