About Lilly of the Valley
Lilly of the Valley's story highlights the many reasons why cats should stay indoors.
Lilly's rescuer trapped her on a Bronx street where his mother-in-law lives in April 2024. They had her spayed and vetted and she SNAP tested negative with the help of Osi Kaminer, Bronx Community Cats and the ASPCA.
Turned out the neighbor said the cat was hers and wanted her back. Trying to keep the peace on this block we gave here back reluctantly with instructions to please not let the cat outside.
Fast forward 6 months later, her rescuer was sitting on the porch and there is a cat who looks just like Lilly. She seems to know the rescuer and climbs into a cat carrier. The chip scan confirms it and now she is FeLV+. She is a beautiful warm cat who is now about 2 1/2 years old with many years of love to give. She deserves a home and not a holding cage.
Lilly of the Valley is FeLV+ and needs to be adopted as a single cat or with another feline leukemia...
