Animal Information: Lemon is a sweet 4-year-old, 12.5-pound Chihuahua mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray. The shelter environment was understandably overwhelming for her at first, and she spent much of her time curled up and trembling from all the noise and activity.
Once staff gave her a chance to get out and decompress, Lemon’s gentle personality began to shine through. Though shy and submissive at first, she’s eager to make friends and warms up with kindness and patience. Lemon is friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and is ready for a fresh start.
