Meet Lainey! As of 09/28/26, Lainey has spent 90 days in our care, earning her place as one of Rockwall Adoption Center's Diamond Dogs. This sweet girl has been waiting far too long for someone to see just how special she is. Lainey's story has not been an easy one. She was surrendered when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her, and now this approximately 2 year old Husky mix weighing around 45 pounds is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her the patience and security she deserves. Lainey can be shy when she first meets someone, but underneath that uncertainty is a very sweet girl who begins to shine once she feels safe. She is still learning how to navigate the world with confidence and would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide consistency, structure, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement as she continues learning how to simply be a dog.
