Meet Lady!

Lady is an affectionate, playful Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix with a fun personality and a whole lot of love to give. She loves playing ball, romping in the yard, and gently herding her foster siblings. Once playtime is over, she’s ready for belly rubs, snuggles, and hanging out with her favorite people. And if you have apple slices, you’re already off to a good start!

Lady does well with other dogs after slow introductions. She can be protective of her home, so she also needs slow, patient introductions to new people. Give her the time and space to feel comfortable, and once you earn her trust, you’ll see just how loving and loyal she can be.

She continues to warm up to her foster dad and adores him when foster mom isn’t available. Men may take a little longer for her to trust, so patience is important. Cheese, apples, and a good game of fetch certainly don’t hurt!
