Lady

Lady's journey hasn't been an easy one. Before she was surrendered to a local shelter, she was living on the streets. Despite her past, she has so much love to give to the right person.

Lady is an affectionate, playful girl who thrives on one-on-one attention and a calm, predictable home. She has a fun, energetic side and loves to play, but when she's done, she's all about relaxing. She plays hard, then naps hard! She enjoys belly rubs, watching the world go by from a comfy spot, and spending time with the people she trusts. Once you earn her trust, she is incredibly loyal and forms a deep bond with her person.

Lady is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She also prefers women, although she has been making steady progress with her foster dad. If there is a man in the home, he'll need to be patient, allow Lady to move at her own pace, and let her build trust on her terms. (Cheese definitely helps!)
