Meet Kenzie, a 9-year-old Shih Tzu weighing just 9 pounds. This tiny little lady has an enormous heart and a serious talent for making herself at home wherever there’s a comfortable couch and a loving human nearby.
Kenzie is house-trained and enjoys the finer things in life: cuddles, toys, short walks, car rides, time in the yard, and plenty of couch time. She is an absolute snuggler who simply wants to love her people. She also enjoys playing with other dogs her size or smaller.
Kenzie has done well with the teenagers in her foster home, and her foster mom believes she would likely do well with children. She hasn't been exposed to cats or larger dogs.
Kenzie and her lifelong companion, Knox, are truly a bonded pair. They sleep together, play together, and find comfort in having each other nearby. They don't need to be together every second, though—they are both independent and do well when left alone for a while.
