Kaya

Foster or forever home wanted, meet Kaya! Kaya entered the Palmdale shelter on August 6 with another golden we named Maya. The shelter vet aged them both as two years old but we aren't sure if maybe they are mother/daughter.

We watched the girls expecting someone was missing them and they'd be recovered. Kaya arrived with no collar, tag or microchip so the shelter had no way to try to reunite her beyond a stray hold which they had for 10 days.

As soon as the stray hold was up, we went to the shelter to pull them to safety. We don't know much about either girl other than the notes from when the intake was done at the shelter. They were both easily handled and very friendly. As we get to know Kaya more, we'll update her bio.
