Meet Johnny! He is a 6 month old, 35 lb. Retriever/Basset Hound mix. Johnny is a sweet, gentle pup with a heart of gold who is looking for a patient, loving home. While he can be a bit shy and hesitant when meeting new people outside the house, his quiet and tender nature shines through as soon as he feels safe. He rarely barks, gets along wonderfully with cats, and is playful with other dogs. Johnny thrives on companionship: he prefers to spend most of his day hanging out by your side, sleeping right next to you, and working through his separation anxiety.
