Jilly is a 1½-year-old, 22-pound terrier mix (likely Parson Russell Terrier/Wire-Haired Fox Terrier) who came to our rescue when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s a gentle, sweet girl with a soft spirit and a quiet, cautious way of taking in the world.
Jilly is shy and sensitive, and she needs time, patience, and consistency to feel safe. New people and environments can be overwhelming for her, so building trust will be a gradual process—not something that happens overnight. But for someone willing to go at her pace, the reward is truly special. As she begins to feel secure, her affectionate and tender personality starts to shine through.
