Jake in TN - A Laid-back Guy!

Meet Jake, a sweet Great Pyrenees who came to us from an animal shelter in Tennessee and is currently in boarding while he waits for a foster or forever home! We don't know his house-training status yet since he's in boarding, but he keeps a clean kennel, which tells us he'll likely pick it up quickly. He is leash trained, and fairly laid back - he seems perfectly happy just laying around in the shade. A 5-foot fence should do the trick to keep him contained, as he hasn't shown any interest in going over one. Jake seems to be ok with cats, as he has met the outdoor cats without issue. With other dogs, he lays down and wags his tail at the small ones when they come near, can be a bit selective with males, and is good with the ladies!
