Holly Is Looking for a Soft Place to Land. At approximately 13 years old, Holly finds herself back at Citrus County Animal Services after spending the last eight years as a much-loved family companion. Her owner originally adopted her from this very shelter and, due to health issues and a move, has now had to make the difficult decision to return her.
Holly comes with something we don't always have for our shelter dogs — a wonderful history of what she's like in a home. Her owner describes her with one perfect word: lovable. Holly enjoys affection, loves to snuggle, sleeps in bed with her person, has had free run of the house and is reported to be house-trained. She's also accustomed to being left home alone for a couple of hours at a time.
