HERBIE

Hi, I'm Herbie!

I'm a FIDO Project dog- FIDO stands for Florida Inmates & Dog Obedience. I live inside our local men's prison so they can help me learn a few things that might help me find a home.

If you’ve seen my pictures on Facebook and the MCAS website, then you know I enjoy being close to the men who train me. They’ve given me their all and I really feel it. I want to make them happy, so I pay attention when they want me to do something.

I make great eye-contact. They call it `engagement.` I guess the people who had me before just didn't know what...
