If sunshine could be turned into a puppy, it might look a lot like Hazel. This sweet girl was born on December 18, 2025, and has blossomed into a beautiful 40-pound young dog with a heart as big as her smile.

Hazel and her brothers arrived from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control when they were only 3 weeks old, so she has grown up surrounded by kindness and care. Today, she is a confident, affectionate companion who loves people, enjoys other dogs, and does great with children.

Hazel is crate trained, leash trained, and an excellent passenger for car rides. She loves collecting toys, accepting treats, and finding the nearest human willing to offer belly rubs. With her colorful coat and cheerful personality, she stands out wherever she goes.
