My story changed on September 14, 2022, when my rescuers witnessed me being physically abused. I was being hit and dragged through the streets, and they immediately stepped in to stop the abuse. They brought me to safety in their car and took me to a veterinary clinic, where I was examined, vaccinated, and cared for. Even after everything I had been through, my rescuers saw hope in my eyes.
