About GNOCCHI
10/06/26 15:13
Gnocchi has been placed on FINAL as of 10/6/2026.
He must be pulled by 5:00 PM on 10/13/2026, or he will be humanely euthanized.
Gnocchi has demonstrated significant stress and arousal while housed in the shelter. When staff attempt to remove Gnocchi from his kennel, he bites at the leash during the leashing process and continues to do so afterward. There have been several instances where Gnocchi has bitten at the leash in close proximity to staff membersâ hands. This behavior presents a safety concern for staff handling him and should be taken into consideration when determining appropriate handling procedures. While housed in his kennel, Gnocchi has been observed body slamming against the kennel door and pacing the length of the kennel. These behaviors are consistent with a high level of arousal or stress in the shelter environment and should be taken into consideration when developing an appropriate handling and management plan.
