Ginger

Animal Information: Ginger is about 4 years old and weighs 17 lbs. She was spotted in a known dumping area in Modesto, California, before being safely caught alongside another dog by a kind Samaritan and brought to the shelter. At first, Ginger was very nervous and shut down, but with a little patience and attention, she slowly began to warm up to staff and show her sweet personality.

This lovely girl has clearly had puppies in the past, but those days are behind her now. She is friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs. Ginger is ready for a fresh start and we are excited to watch her continue to blossom with love, patience, and plenty of TLC in foster care.
