About Gemma
This is tiny, 4-5 month old Gemma. She came to us in a crisis and needed emergency medical care to both stabilize her and figure out what was going on with her small kitten body.
It is so incredibly unfair, but little Gemma has been diagnosed with kidney failure. She has her whole life ahead of her, and she shouldn't have to face something this heavy so early. It breaks our hearts, but we are determined to give her the fighting chance she deserves. She needs to leave the shelter environment immediately for a quiet, stress-free medical foster home. Kidney failure is entirely non-contagious so foster her poses absolutely zero threat to any other cats, dogs, or animals in your home.
Despite her diagnosis, she is incredibly resilient, full of purrs, and wants nothing more than to be loved. We ask that to foster Gemma, you must live in the Greater Cincinnati area. This is so you can easily accommodate regular checkups, blood work...
