FRANCINE

Francine is a one-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart that`s growing braver
every day. She arrived at the shelter with her best friend, Frederick, and
together they`re happy, confident, and ready to take on the world. On her
own, though, Francine is still building confidence in our Shy Dog Program
and learning that life without Frederick isn`t quite so scary. A friendly,
confident dog in her future home could really help her continue to blossom.

Once she feels comfortable, Francine`s fun side shines! She has plenty of
young-dog energy, loves splashing in the kiddie pool, knows sit, and takes
treats ever so gently. She`s a little jumpy and could use some basic
training, but she`s eager to learn and ready for adventures with her new
family.

Because she`s still a shy girl, we recommend a meet and greet with any
resident dogs and a home with kids 12 and older. With a little patience,
