About Flamingo
I’m Flamingo, a tiny brown mctabby girl with a big story and an even bigger heart. When I first arrived at Sheltering Hands, my world was full of scary things—surgery, cones on my head, stitches, medications, and people touching me when I didn’t understand why. My injured leg couldn’t be saved, so I became a tripod before I even knew what kittenhood was supposed to feel like.

I only felt safe being touched when I was eating or sleeping—when my guard was down. Little by little, I learned that affection wasn’t something to fear.
