FANCY

OTHER PETS: Fancy has been human social, but less so with dogs. She'll give some light sniffs but hasn't tried to play or seek attention with other dogs. A dog meet is a must for Fancy with any dog she'll be living with.

OWNER EXPERIENCE: Experience with positive reinforcement or willingness to learn. Fancy loves to be social and is enjoys meeting new people at her pace, but she can also be anxious. it's helpful to understand how to best help nervous dogs, especially when it comes to resourc-guarding and favorite items. Trading up by tossing something of high value to the side will help her learn she doesn't have to lose favorite toys or food.

KIDS: As a pup who has shown some signs of resource guarding while at TJO, she is best suited for older children. Minors and dogs need active supervision to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
