Meet Ethel, an almost 4-year-old, 53-pound Doodle who has made incredible strides during her time in foster care. This sweet girl may still be naturally timid and skittish, but she has blossomed into a gentle companion who accepts pets, takes treats ever so gently, and is learning that the world is a pretty safe place.
Once Ethel bonds with you, she becomes your quiet little shadow. She loves simply being near her people, making her an especially wonderful work-from-home companion. She’s happy to curl up nearby while you work, keeping you company without demanding much more than a little love.
Ethel walks nicely on a leash and is working on her “sit” and “down.” She’s also crate trained and loves having her crate as a cozy, safe place to retreat. And when she’s ready to have some fun, Ethel enjoys playing with other dogs and gets along well with both small and large canine friends.
