About Ella
✨ UPDATE!! MEET SWEET ELLA! ✨
This precious little senior is Ella, and if ever there were a girl who deserved to spend her golden years being spoiled rotten, it’s her.
Ella came to us from a local overcrowded shelter after being dumped in her golden years—almost completely blind and deaf. Imagine being an elderly, tiny 7.5-lb girl suddenly finding yourself in a loud, unfamiliar shelter unable to see or hear what was happening around you.
She arrived severely matted, suffering from skin and eye infections, and absolutely terrified. Her matting was so severe that she had to be sedated and completely shaved down. She has since started antibiotics and eye medication, and she is looking and feeling better every single day!
Her teeth aren’t in the best condition, but because of her age and overall condition, we did not want to keep her under anesthesia any longer than necessary. Thankfully, that doesn’t slow Ella down at mealt...
