Meet DW, the 4 month old puppy. DW arrived to the Shelter with her three siblings. They had been an accidental litter. Their mom, who is a Husky x Australian Shepherd mix, was impregnated by an unknown male dog. We suspect some sort of smaller breed as these puppies are not very large for their age. DW is a bit of a shy puppy. She sometimes barks to alert to new people or things. With time and patience, she warms up and engages. A dog savvy adopter that will allow her to warm up at her own pace is recommended. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. DW should meet any resident dogs at the Shelter prior to adoption. DW is still perfecting all things puppy such as potty training, leash walking and age-appropriate socialization.
