We know... it's an unusual name for an adorable kitten. But trust us, it has nothing to do with who she is today and everything to do with the tiny fighter she once was.
When Deb was about two months old, she had a severe reaction following a vaccine and became critically ill. For over a month, we weren't sure if she was going to make it. Every time we celebrated a small improvement, she'd take an even bigger step backward. She stopped eating, lost an alarming amount of weight, and became so frail that she truly looked... well... decrepit. The name started as a lighthearted way to get through one of the hardest medical cases we'd seen.
