Davis is one of three dogs we rescued from a backyard breeding situation, where he was living in poor conditions with very little human interaction and no veterinary care.
It was clear he was long overdue for medical care. He had painful glaucoma in one eye that required surgical removal and was also missing part of his lower lip from a prior trauma. Since coming into rescue, he's been neutered, received a thorough dental cleaning, and enjoyed a much-needed grooming. He's feeling so much better, looking handsome, and finally getting the care and second chance he deserves.
When Davis first arrived in foster care, he was understandably anxious. He paced constantly, struggled to relax, and didn't trust people.
