All Southern Crescent Canine Rescue pets are spayed or neutered, all vaccinations are up to date, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption. We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption!

What a unique fellow Darren is! He is about 4 months old (sept 1, 2026), and we expect him to mature to around 40 pounds. We didn't see Mom or Dad (shelter rescue), but our best guess is a Bassett/Schnauzer mix. Use your imagination! He is friendly and engaging, never meets a stranger, and loves other dogs (maybe too much!). He has endless enthusiasm and all the puppy charm you can ask for. He is doing great on leash walking and is plenty smart. Adopt him now and complete his housebreaking. Worth all the trouble!
