Compton arrived at our shelter on August 7th, after he was found by some people passing through town. We held him for a legal stray hold and no one claimed him. He has been growing well and is still quite young, born approximately in early July 2026. He has been vet checked, wormed, and received his first of three distemper/parvo vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption after his second shot around September 3rd. His adoption fee of $150 covers all of his basic vet work and will be coordinated by us. This includes all three of his distemper/parvo vaccinations, microchip, rabies vaccination (when old enough), and neuter surgery (when old enough).
Compton is a healthy, active, and mischievous pup. He will require a lot of training in all areas. He needs a home that is committed to this and in which he will not be left alone for long stretches. He appears to be a boxer/pit bull type mix, maybe with some type of shepherd, so it is likely that he will grow up to be a big dog. H...
