Charlie

Charlie is a 9- to 10-month-old male Bahamian Potcake, likely with some catahoula leopard/ hound in the mix, and he is one of those dogs who quietly works his way into your heart. Charlie can be shy and a little skittish around new people, but once he decides you’re his person, that bond means everything to him. He may need a little patience and time to fully come out of his shell, but in the meantime he is gentle, quiet, affectionate and incredibly sweet. After starting life on the streets of the Bahamas, Charlie has decided that soft things are one of life’s greatest inventions. Pillows, couches, blankets, comfy dog beds — if it’s cozy, Charlie approves. He loves his toys, hanging with his dog friends, and has recently discovered that pool days are pretty fantastic too. He hasn’t committed to full-on swimming yet, but lounging on the sun shelf like he owns the place? Absolutely. Charlie is still a puppy, so he’ll need so...
