About C329 Litter Pepper
Pepper pretends to be a spicy boy but he's secretly very affectionate. Pepper loves cheek and chin scratches and then is mad that he likes it. Pepper is active and energetic and can often be found climbing or playing with crinkle toys, feather wands, and balls. You will often find him curled up with his siblings.
Pepper is good with respectful kids, cautious with dogs though we suspect he would adapt quickly to a canine sibling.
Pepper is one of our 9 panleukopenia survivors in summer 2026. Because of his medical history, adopters must be aware that his neuter should be delayed until November-December 2026. Further, adopters should be aware that panleukopenia survivors must be carefully monitored in case they develop FIP. FIP is a treatable feline illness that is seen at higher rates in panleukopenia survivors. Adopters will commit to treat FIP and not euthanize without first contacting HDDCR and offering HDDCR the opportunity to treat.
