My name is Brooks Dunn named after the famous country singer. I came to DDRTX from a hoarding situation with a group called "The Country Music Stars". Brooks is doing well and is looking healthy now. Brooks has come out of his shell and loves to be pet. He hasn't quite got the hang of being in your lap but he does like to be right beside you. He is crate trained but does prefer to sleep in the big bed with the humans. Wherever you go, Brooks goes. At meal times he has the philosophy of what's mine is mine and what's your is mine. The rest of his foster crew do not agree with Brooks therefore, he eats in his crate by himself. He is a smart boy. He taught himself that he has to potty outside and got the hang of walking on a leash easily. He didn't know what a treat was and at first wouldn't take one directly from the hand but if it's placed in front of him, he will happily eat it. He is still a bit timid about meeti...
