Brooklyn Barge

Brooklyn Barge was found as a dumped pet in a Brooklyn neighborhood, terrified and very shut down. He is still nervous around people, and likely wasn't treated well in the past. He prefers slow and gentle movements, and will reward you with headbutts and lean into your hand. He adores churu and catnip, and that's the way to his heart. We aren't entirely sure his feelings about other cats yet. We think he wants to be with them, and would prefer to be with another cat, but a lot of our cats bully him, because he's a bit timid. He spent a weekend cuddling with one of our cafe rabbits, and he adored it.

We love this boy so much, and know he just needs a soft place to land and remind him that humans are nice.
