Meet Boy, the 2 year old male pug. Boy came to the Shelter after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him. He was surrendered with a female shih tzu mix (who has since been adopted). Boy is a goofy, high energy boy who has been eager to interact with staff and volunteers since his arrival. He is exuberant when out and sometimes pulls on leash. Boy has lived with children ages 2 and 7 years old previously. He also had a feline friend who he would occasionally cuddle with. Any cats in the home should be introduced in a slow, thoughtful manner. Boy was primarily outdoors in his previous home so he may need some patience in the transition to indoor living for things such as potty training.
Boy has some dental health needs that his next adopters should be mindful of. Any potential adopters can discuss this further with the clinic staff if they are interested in pursuing adoption.
