Bootsie spent much of her life hiding under a couch, bringing litter after litter into the world before she was finally rescued by SCC volunteers. Because of her difficult start, she is a very shy girl who needs a patient, understanding home.
Once Bootsie learns to trust you, you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate companion who loves to “chat.” She enjoys cuddling on her own terms and never says no to a tasty treat. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.
Bootsie would do best as the only pet in a quiet home. We aren’t sure how she would do with children, but loud noises can be frightening for her.
Bootsie has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has been treated for fleas and worms. If you have a calm home and a kind heart, Bootsie is ready to leave her past behind and spend the rest of her life feeling safe and loved.
