I’m Big Mack, and I have a few important things to say about dinner.

I was adopted in May 2025 as an FIV-positive adult, but when my adopter became ill, I came back into the program. Around the same time, my health took a turn and I was diagnosed with diabetes. I had also developed a painful dental infection that required multiple extractions, and by the time I returned to foster care, I weighed just 7 pounds.

These days, I’m doing so much better. I get insulin just once a day, and I’m an absolute pro about it. Blood glucose checks? No problem. Insulin injection? Barely notice it. Fancy Feast Classic Pate? Now we're talking.

I am extremely food motivated, which makes my care considerably easier. I’ll happily cooperate with just about anything if there’s a meal or treat waiting for me.
