About Bert
Bert is a sweet little guy that came into rescue with his brother Ernie.
There was a little sibling syndrome going on with Bert being more the alpha, so we decided to adopt them out separately.
Bert is a lover, on the one hand, cuddly and sweet, but he can have a feisty terrier 'tude sometimes where he wants to be the boss (with other meeker dogs or cats). He does get along with confident cats.
It's hard for us to know if he would be Ok as a solo dog as he's been with his brother his whole life. Perhaps a female dog would be best for him.
A fenced in yard would be great as he loves to run and explore and bark at the squirrels or strangers! :) This is preferred, but we could explore your situation if you do not have that.
Bert can be barky and defensive with strangers, he may need "managed intros" with people he doesn't know.
