Named after the legendary Flyers goalie, this handsome boy has the heart of a champion to match his name. Bernie’s story started off tough — he was sadly left behind when his family moved on New Year’s Day. But this resilient guy didn’t give up. He made sure he was heard, and thanks to his determination, rescuers found him. Total survivor energy.



Since then, Bernie has shown nothing but love. In his foster home, he’s proven to be cuddly, affectionate, and wonderfully outgoing. He greets you like an old friend, happily chats about his day, and soaks up attention like it’s his full-time job.



Bernie is a social, confident boy who could do well with one calm feline companion, but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only best buddy. He truly just wants his person.
