Benny is looking for a special home.

This sweet handsome boy is 11 years young. He’s got pep in his step and flap in his giant ears. However, it is very clear that he has been through some trauma in the last few years, which has resulted in resource guarding behavior around food-related items. He also sometimes needs his space and requires that his people pet him only when he asks for attention.

The good news? He shows none of this behavior toward other dogs and his triggers can be managed with some careful set-up of his environment. The better news? Benny has been working on learning new behaviors with the help of a professional trainer. He will continue to need reinforcement of these new behaviors in his new home.
