ALFIE

Alfie is a very sweet but timid boy. He has gained confidence while here as his resilience continues to grow. He has done well in playgroup w/ females and often initiates the play. He likes to play in water dish during playgroups but have not seen him do this in kennel. He doesn’t pull much on walks, mostly stays by your side. He is calm for a larger dog, hasn’t jumped up on people, doesn’t snatch toys out of your hands & gentle taking treats. He would do best in a home with a calm, confident playful dog. I quieter home with low traffic with adopters who have the patience to work w/ his shyness. When you meet Alfie, he may not approach right away but he has been able to bond with staff here & solicit attention, I don’t foresee bonding to be an issue in a home. All he would need is time. He has a gentle spirit and a sweet soul; he may just be your next family member?
