But here's what helps me feel safe: my CAT TREE. Oh, I LOVE my cat tree! Up high, I can see everything. I can watch you without being too close. I can observe and learn and slowly start to understand that maybe, just maybe, you're not so scary after all. A good cat tree isn't just furniture to me - it's my confidence builder, my safe space, my observation deck.
You know what else helps? FOOD. When the food bowl comes out, suddenly my shyness takes a back seat. Food means good things. Food means someone cares. Food...
