Summer

Meet Summer - A Beautiful Soul Ready for Her Forever Home

Summer is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix, about 40 pounds, with the sweetest heart and an incredible story of resilience.

She was found as a stray after having puppies and arrived at the shelter absolutely terrified. So frightened that she ended up on the euthanasia list because no one had the chance to see the wonderful dog hiding beneath her fear. We knew she deserved a second chance-and we're so glad we gave her one.

Since coming into foster care, Summer has completely blossomed. Watching her discover what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family has been nothing short of amazing. Her confidence grows every day, and she's embracing this new world with curiosity and excitement.

Summer absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to continue building her confidence. She's now comfortable and trusting with people, enjoys meeting new friends, and has left her fearful shelter...
