Sage’s story started last Christmas when she and her sister were found running scared in the street. Their finders brought them to animal control, and while her sister was quickly adopted, the loud shelter environment was overwhelming for sweet Sage. She became very anxious and unsure of the world around her. Thankfully, her finders came back for her and brought her home to decompress in a quieter space. With patience and love, she quickly returned to her happy, excited self and has been blossoming ever since.
Sage is an estimated 3-year-old pit mix girl who bonds deeply with her people. She is an incredibly loyal girl. When she first gets excited, her bark can sound a little intimidating, but once she warms up, there is nothing she loves more than cuddling under blankets and giving endless kisses. She truly lives to be close to her humans.
