Bacardi is a playful, curious sweetheart who loves having fun! She is a little guarded with people, especially at first, or in new settings, but can be drawn out easily with a good laser toy and lickable cat treats. Bacardi enjoys being petted or getting head scratches and will begin purring as soon as she is touched! However, she is not quite ready to be held or snuggled, preferring instead to be the perfect proximity friend. This charming girl will need extra time and patience as she learns to trust people, but she continues to make good progress in her foster home, little by little! Because of her more tentative nature, Bacardi would do best in a quieter home with adults and older children who can help her build her confidence. Slow and calm introductions, as well as starting her off in a smaller space with fewer hiding spots (like a bathroom) will help ensure a smooth transition to her new home!
